Our greatest triumph this year was V2’s success in the
form House Drama competition. Mr Dwyer bravely and
superbly led V2 to victory with their performance of a
Greek tragedy, with V2 as the clear winner.
Unfortunately, Mr Tidbury, who has been Head of House
alongside the wonderful Miss Williams, is leaving Borlase
this year. He has consistently been an excellent leader and
entertained us withmaths-related but hilarious assemblies
– he will be sorely missed! However, the golden axe has
now been passed to Mr Dwyer, who will undoubtedly
attack his role with enthusiasm and vigour, leading Vikings
with Miss Williams to even more victories.
James and I would like to thank all of Vikings, for making
this year, as House Captains, so unforgettable.
Henrietta Longstaff
winning our fourth House Cup in five years and reasserting
our position as the greatest house of them all, as well as
retaining the indomitable Saxon spirit in our internal
house activities over the coming year.

Vikings
James Evans and I were honoured to lead Vikings through
a very exciting year, entering and having a fantastic time in
every challenge that was put before us, both inter-house
and within the Viking community itself. I have noted
numerous times when Vikings has been called “the nicest
house”, and having assemblies every week with them, I
couldn’t agree more.
Good luck to all Borlase leavers in
your future endeavours.
We look forward towelcoming you as part of the Borlase alumni.
