The Borlasian (2012) - page 3

Editors’ Foreword
Whilst reading through previous Borlasians it
appears tome that there is a common theme in the
editor’s forewords of procrastination and biscuit
orientated meetings. I can tell you now that this
year has been no different; many a deadline was
extended and many a biscuit munched. But after
some frantic last minute scrambling and many
subtle email reminders the magazine finally took
shape. What is so great about The Borlasian is that
it encompasses all areas of school life and shows
how wide and varied the talents here are.
What I would say is that whilst, yes, The Borlasian
hasbeenachallengingexperience, ithasalsobeen
a highly rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable
one. I would also like to say a huge thank you
to our wonderful editorial team without whom
there just would not be a magazine, especially my
assistant editor Jess Rees.
Last year’s editors set us the challenge this year of
getting the Borlasian online and interactive and
I am pleased to say that we are on the brink of
launching a digital version. Soon after you read
this, you should be able to access it.
We hope you enjoy the Borlasian 2013 and I want to wish good luck to next year’s editors.
